07/09/11 – A blast from the past

We've been going through old photographs tonight. This is one of my first attempts at a Beatles painting, on the side of my grandparents garage wall in Aboyne in 1965. I couldn't believe Pop gave the green light to paint this but I was so glad he did! Who would have thought that all these years later I'd be doing this for a living! 03/07/11 – Getting ready for Glasgow

My wife and I are delighted to tell you we'll be moving to Glasgow in just over a month. It's going to be a big change from Aberdeen (we've been here our whole married lives - 31 years), but we have fallen in love with our new home city after frequent visits over the last decade. I can't wait to start painting in our new apartment. It's so bright and will be an inspiring place to paint.

20/05/11 – Football Greats

I'm a massive football fan and have been desperate to paint some football greats for a long time! Recently I spent time painting two great Scottish managers. Newly retired Rangers great Walter Smith and Celtic great, Jock Stein. Im delighted to announce these are available as limited edition prints through Breeze Gallery

04/09/10 – Take That nearly finished

Over the last few years I've been asked about painting Take That. This one is my first of Gary, Mark, Jason and Howard and will be finished soon. I thought you might like to see what an 80% finished painting looks like. I am going to post more work in progress in the future so please check back to see if I'm working on your favourites.
