My memories of this great video stem from Live Aid in the summer of 1985. It was filmed over one night at Spillers Millennium Mills (close to the Thames Barrier) in London. An energetic cover of Martha ad the Vandellas hit, this made Number 1 and loads of money for the Ethiopian famine.
I've included some key lines from the song, and blasted the American cities mentioned all over the painting.
This is a one-off Original piece on Saunders Waterford 300gsm HP paper, using mixed media including Watercolour Paint, Acrylic Paint, Inktense Pencils and occasionally Unison Colour Soft Pastels.
